Chapman Botanical Gardens

Find yourself swept away into periods long since forgotten! Built in honor of Dr. Alvin Chapman, a prominent southern botanist and 1800s resident of Apalachicola this garden features a butterfly garden, other botanical features, and open spaces. Sidewalks connect from the parking lots and wind in and around the gardens. This property adjoins the Orman House Historic State Park, featuring the 1838 antebellum home of Thomas Orman and the Three Soldiers Details, a bronze replica of the Vietnam memorial statue in Washington, D.C. Making it a remarkable wedding venue location with loads of history and beauty.
