Book Presentation and Porch Concert

Jim Barfield retired judge, and descendant of the Flatauer family of Apalachicola will read from his book BOXCARS. This novel for young adults is about two teens, a Jewish boy and a gypsy girl who meet and fall in love on a boxcar bound for Auschwitz during the Holocaust. The book presentation will be followed by a short concert of songs written by Jim with Jim on the guitar and his wife on the autoharp. There is no charge.
