Full Moon Lighthouse Climb at Crooked River Lighthouse

The Crooked River Lighthouse will be hosting a Full Moon Event on Thursday, January 25, from 6:00-8:00 pm in Carrabelle, FL. Visitors can enjoy the gorgeous natural surroundings of St. George Sound and Carrabelle Beach under the glow of the full Wolf Moon.

At this month’s Full Moon event, guests can listen to the fun and cool sounds from DJ Beanie Baby who will be spinning all your 80s favorites. Visitors are invited to come dressed in their finest 80s wear. Plus purchase some delicious food from one of the local favorites, A Train Stop food truck. In addition to their full menu, they will also be offering lighthouse kid’s specials.

Visitors can also have an after-hours visit in the Keeper’s House Museum and see the exhibit for the lighthouse’s original, historic Fresnel lens. Guests may also enjoy the glowing bonfire in the park (weather permitting). Bring a chair and enjoy the evening. Recommended donation for this event is $5 to support the lighthouse and help offset the additional costs for these after-hours events and can be made either via the website or at “the gate”.
